If you do not like electric lighters, for any reason, you can use an alternative starter fireplace. These give off a very funky, that your guests will appreciate. They are relatively inexpensive, about $ 5, but will definitely make you look. In simple terms, a chimney-shaped metal tube to a great start with a handle that contains a pan on the bottom.

Take some 'plain paper as scrap paper or cardboard from cereal boxes to the fire started. Inorder to light up the chimney started, you should follow the following steps.

First, push the scrap paper or cardboard to the bottom of the canister. Make sure nothing is dangling out of the canister as it may burn you. Next, add a few charcoal bricks on top of the paper. Take the chimney and put it on the bottom level of the grill. Light up the paper using a regular lighter. This will push the heat up the canister, making the charcoal warm and eventually setting it on fire.

When the charcoal is burning, simply take the chimney starter by the handle and drop the burning charcoal into the grill. Within a few seconds, the whole grill should start to light up and the remainder of the charcoals should ignite.

This is a cheap alternative to an electric lighter. It is also a much faster method to use because it only takes a few minutes. An electric lighter can take between 15 to 25 minutes to properly light up an entire grill full of charcoals as it slowly heats up. This goes straight to the burning!
